In 1891 Yukon Public Schools first opened its doors in a small one-room building.  Since that time the school system has grown to over 8,300 students and growing. With a strong reputation and proven track record of success working closely with students, parents and community Yukon Public Schools have garnered Five Star ranking from the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in each of its 5 categories; community, staff, students, facilities, and curriculum.
